Junior Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Permanent position, full or part-time - Zurich
Your tasks
Are you passionate about events and communication and want to advance your sales career in the event sector? Then become part of our team and help us to make our memox location Flughafen West in Zurich even better known!- Active new customer acquisition in the B2B sector - focus on in-house events, agile event formats and large events for up to 450 people
- Identification and definition of target groups and desired customers
- Contacting relevant contact persons (telephone, e-mail, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Presentation and sale of our event location to potential customers
- Close cooperation with our Customer Success and Operations team for the handover and implementation of booked events
- Building up and supporting your own customer base
- Participation in industry events and networking activities to generate leads
What you bring with you
- Completed training or studies in the field of hotel / convention sales / MICE / sales
- At least one year of experience in sales as well as experience in acquisition activities
- Sales strength, consulting and networking expertise
- Good knowledge of the surrounding area (airport region, Zurich & surrounding area)
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact
- Self-motivation, goal orientation and an independent way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) is a plus
