Junior Event Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Permanent position, full-time - Berlin
Your tasks
- You will be involved in the opening of our new location in Berlin!
- You are the first point of contact for our customers - by phone or mail - and provide them with advice and support.
- You'll be responsible for creating proposals, follow-ups, and upsales, and making sure our customers' needs always come first.
- You will also take on key accounting activities and be responsible for contacting and acquiring leads from marketing.
- You will represent memox at internal and external events and inspire new customers to use our product.
- You successfully implement our inbound and outbound sales strategy.
- You process and maintain the leads and manage the entire lifecycle.
- You are the interface to our external booking platforms and maintain them.
- You will conduct tours of the locations to convince guests of our product on site.
- You bring your own ideas, ensure the continuous improvement of processes and develop standards.
What you bring with you
- You are motivated to help shape our market entry in Berlin.
- You have completed training or studies in the field of hotel/convention sales/MICE and have at least one year's experience in event and meeting sales.
- Your entrepreneurial thinking combines with sales strength, consulting and networking skills.
- You love the hands-on mentality and pitching in.
- You have experience with a CRM system.
- You shine as an excellent host with a strong service mentality.
- You communicate with your customers in written and verbal form in German and English.
- You live a speak-up mentality and show initiative.
- You enjoy dealing with people and enjoy sales.
