Event Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• As a passionate host or hostess, you and your team ensure that our customers feel well taken care of and welcome from the moment they first arrive until they say goodbye.
• You will serve as the point of contact for all on-site inquiries and ensure that events run smoothly.
• You’ll lead the on-site operations team as their direct team lead and coach, pitch in yourself, provide guidance in day-to-day operations, and develop your team in a targeted manner to ensure successful collaboration, event preparation and follow-up, and guest service.
• You are responsible for resource procurement, supplier management, setting up the rooms, maintaining the venue, and cost control.
• You ensure quality management with high standards.
• You will share responsibility for customer satisfaction, cost management, and revenue generation, as well as for our Skybar, including bar operations and bistro offerings.
• You stand in for the general manager when he is absent.
• With a clear focus and a motivating vision, you’ll be part of the memox team in Munich, acting as the local representative of executive management and representing the brand.

What you bring with you

• You have completed training or a degree in the hotel/catering/event or MICE sector
• You shine as an excellent host with a strong service mentality.
• You have several years of professional experience in the hotel, banquet and event management sector with a professional provider
• In your last position, you demonstrated your leadership experience and competence.
• Budgets, forecasts and revenue are not foreign words for you.
• You have experience with the management of catering partners, an understanding of gastronomy and hygiene.
• Leading and motivating employees are among your strengths, and you serve as a role model and coach.
• You communicate with your customers in written and verbal form in German and English.
• You love the hands-on mentality and pitching in.
• You enjoy working with people.
