General Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• As an entrepreneur, you will be responsible for the success of our new memox location in Munich—with a particular focus on acquiring new customers, expanding into new markets, driving revenue growth, and nurturing existing customers.
• You identify market opportunities and actively build customer relationships—you successfully position memox in the local market to lay the groundwork for additional locations in the region.
• Sales, cold calling, networking, and developing new business opportunities are naturally part of the role for you and will shape your day-to-day work, especially during the first 1–2 years of market entry.
• You are responsible for customer satisfaction as well as the costs and revenue of your location.
• As a passionate host, you and your team ensure that our customers feel well taken care of from the very first contact through the event itself all the way to their departure.
• You will have overall responsibility for the meeting and conference floors, as well as our Skybar, which features a bar and bistro service.
• You will lead the on-site team as their direct team lead and coach, provide guidance in day-to-day operations, and develop your team in a targeted manner to ensure successful collaboration, event preparation and follow-up, guest services, and market development.
• With a clear focus and a motivating vision, you will lead your team, act as the local representative of executive management, and represent the brand.

What you bring with you

• You have completed vocational training or a degree in the field of hospitality, catering, events, or MICE.
• You have several years of professional experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, sales, and banquet or event management.
• You have leadership experience and know how to motivate teams and lead by example.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong sales skills, and enjoy tapping into new markets and building long-term customer loyalty.
• You are familiar with budgets, forecasts, and revenue, as well as revenue management.
• You have the necessary expertise in food service operations and hygiene standards, as well as in working with catering partners.
• You stand out for your consulting skills, networking abilities, and strong commitment to customer service.
• You will communicate confidently with our customers in German and English.
• You're a hands-on person who pitches in.
